Cobham Lacrosse seeks Head Coach

Cobham Lacrosse Club invites applications to work with us as Head Coach for season 2024-25.

Interested in developing club lacrosse at grassroots? Come and join us as Head Coach! We’re a Club

with juniors from U9- U15 plus a 16+ section. We play in both the SEWLA junior and senior women’s

leagues. We need a new Head Coach for the coming season.

• As Head Coach you’d lead 8-18+ training on Saturday afternoons (1-430pm) and, potentially,

• First Team (16+) training on Thursday evenings (615-730pm).

• League matches are on advertised Sunday mornings.

• You’d work closely with our Chair, Fixtures Manager and Tournament management team to plan our annual tournament in May.

• Interested in coaching Sixes format? We have sixes markings laid and plan more matches in the Sixes format as we approach the 2028 Olympics.

• We have great pay, have mileage rates for matches, and have a bonus scheme for work well-done.

Ideally, our Head Coach is a Level 2 (ELA ‘Field’) or above coach, with excellent playing history. S/he should also hold/be happy to obtain an umpiring qualification, and we require senior coaches to have Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications as per England Lacrosse. You’ll also need a DBS check, which we fund, to be carried out via England Lacrosse.
