SEWLA Sixes Tournament

We are writing with exciting news about the inaugural SEWLA Sixes tournament! We have not had an end of season "Clubs and Colleges" tournament for a few years and would like to re-introduce this tradition with the exciting and fast growing Olympic version of lacrosse in the Sixes format! 

Sixes was announced as an Olympic sport in October last year for LA28 and is a fast paced, small-sided version of our great game! At the moment mostly elite teams are playing it, but we want to make sixes accessible to everyone and give our clubs and unis a chance to experience the speed and excitement of the game. This is also a great time to learn about Sixes as we head into EL's flagship Sixes tournament, The Fly, in May and June. 

We would love you to enter as a club or uni team, but will also accept entries from scratch teams if you just want to get a few mates together to play!

Tournament info:

  • Date: Sunday 28th April

  • Time: TBC - approx. 10am-3pm

  • Venue: Springwest Academy, Browells Lane, Feltham, TW13 7E

  • Space for up to 16 teams/clubs

  • Squad size of max 12 players

  • Cost of entry: £100 per team

Deadline: Please make your tournament entry fee payments online to SEWLA by Friday 22nd March to reserve your spot in the tournament. Please contact us for payment information.

Umpires will be sourced centrally and are part of your entry fee. More details on this will be provided closer to the time once we have entries and a tournament schedule.
